Message 28: Davin
> Well I am sorry to tell you that you have as much purpose as a cat or
> a dog or a plant or a rock or any other thing on this planet.
Not true, since we are more sophisticated than a cat or a dog or a
plant or a rock, then more is expected of us. Out purpose in life is
to advance the human species so that it is capable of leaving the
Earth in some form to colonise the Universe. Any alien life that we
encounter along the way will become our friends. As I have said in an
earlier article, war between two sides that possess nuclear weapons
will not occur, since the result of that war will be Mutually Assured
Destruction, or MAD for short.
> There is no purpose per se. We may invent one if we like such as
> conquering the Universe but that is our choice. It is not given to us
> by anybody or anything except ourselves.
God has a plan for all of us. This plan can be found through
meditation, prayer and/or conversation with others.
> That is life on earth and we should just enjoy it while we are
> here. Our time is short and we are merely here for the ride, so enjoy.
Don't you want more of a legacy than memories (in the minds of others)
and dust (which you will surely turn in to when you die), and since you
have children, allowing copies of your genes into the gene pool?
It is only by becoming one with the Universe that you can truly
leave a better legacy than this.
