I see where you are coming from at last: "Why are we here?"

Well I am sorry to tell you that you have as much purpose as a cat or
a dog or a plant or a rock or any other thing on this planet.

There is no purpose per se. We may invent one if we like such as
conquering the Universe but that is our choice. It is not given to us
by anybody or anything except ourselves.

We just are; Davin, that is the nature of life it is spontaneous and
beautiful and random and no one controls it.

That is life on earth and we should just enjoy it while we are
here. Our time is short and we are merely here for the ride, so enjoy.
