A conversation with an athiest

This page documents my email conversation with an atheist who read my article explaining my religious beliefs. The name of this person has been withheld following a request of that person that their identity should remain undisclosed. Message 01: Atheist



Interesting. Here is my take. Have you seen those photos of different
planets and suns in the Universe and showing Earth as a comparison.
Those photos showed me there is no God. Human beings think they are so
"evolved" and they are anointed by God, chosen by God to look after
the Earth etc. We are no more than half evolved combinations of
flesh and blood, evolved as we are by accidents of nature and flukes
in history on a tiny pin prick of dust that melts into insignificance
when compared to other bodies present in the universe. Do you really
think God is interested in us?

I say no, I say we are here by accident and we are here all by
ourselves as far as we know.
