Joan’s Piccies

Some pictures of my mother’s side of my family tree. Pictured included: the sisters Joan Frances Pearson (my mother, nee Petty) and Valerie Kay Campbell (my Auntie, nee Petty) and their parents Malcolm Gordon Petty and Diana (no middle name, known by her friends as "Di") Petty (nee Chorley).

From left to right: Diana Petty, Joan Pearson (nee Petty, my mother) & Malcom Gordon Petty. This is the only photograph of my Grand-dad on my mother's side that I was able to find. Unfortunately Malcom petty died before I was born so I was unable to meet him.

Joan playing the role of Lady Godiva in a play. In the true story Lady Godiva rode naked upon her horse through the local town. See if you can spot the peeping Tom looking through the window at the naked Lady Godiva.

My mother (Joan) and others from the Taubmans Paint Factory where she worked. See if you can spot her amongst the crowd of men. As a hint to you, she appears in the front row of men fourth from the left.
