  <font size=6>B</font>uzz went my faulty digital alarm clock at 11am.
</p>

<p>
  QQ(APOS(You)d better get up), cried Mum from in the kitchen.
  QQ(APOS(We)re going to the beach in a quarter of an hour.)
</p>
<br>
<p>
  I sank down deep under the covers hoping I was dreaming.  A few
  minutes passed.  I lazily explored under the covers pretending that
  I was in a cave.  Just for fun I picked out some of the feathers out
  of my eiderdown.
</p>
<br>
<p>
  QQ(Two minutes till we go), shouted my little brother.
</p>
<br>
<p>
  I zipped out of my bed, throwing all the covers on to the floor.
  Hurriedly I got dressed and had some breakfast.  I jumped in the car
  and we were off.
</p>
<br>
<p>
  When we finally arrived at the seaside it was so packed you could
  hardly breathe.  By the time we had unpacked the food this big fly
  came along and drove our dog (Rex) mad after flying around his head
  several times despite frantic barks from Rex.
</p>
<br>
<p>
  Finally the fly retreated and started hovering over our cake, with
  icing and all.  Rex jumped for the fly and landed on our cake
  splatting cream and decorative icing everywhere.
</p>
<br>
<p>
  After Rex had shaken half the cake and icing off himself and onto
  the car bonnet he continued the chase for the fly.
</p>
<br>
<p>
  QQ(Put Rex in the car), Dad told me.
</p>
<br>
<p>
  I ran for Rex but I didn't catch him.  I only trod on a lot of jam
  and jelly sandwiches.  The fly kept landing on people's picnics and
  taking off just as Rex jumps on them and I stand on them.
</p>
<br>
<p>
  Then Dad joined the chase.  Not very many people had a picnic now
  after we had been stepping on them.
</p>
<br>
<p>
  Finally Dad slipped over a jam and jelly sandwich and fell onto the
  fly.  It was dead in a flash!
</p>
